Northern Mosaic Network strives to make communities in the Northwest Territories a safer, more open, more knowledgeable place for all 2SLGBTQIA+ people and their allies. 2SLGBTQIA+ people are an active and important part of our economy in the Northwest Territories, but the experiences of 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs here haven’t been explored. We’re lookingg to change that!

Thanks to funding from the Canadian Queer Chamber of Commerce through the Government of Canada’s 2SLGBTQ+ Entrepreneurship Program, we’re hosting a series of consultations that will help us understand the experiences and needs of 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs throughout the Northwest Territories.

To do this, we’re hoping to hear from:

  • 2SLGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs,

  • 2SLGBTQIA+ aspiring entrepreneurs, and

  • Organizations that support entrepreneurs, like Chambers of Commerce or youth business development programs.

If this is you, you can help in one of the following ways:

  1. Complete our survey by June 14, 2026.

  2. Offer to participate in an interview with us by June 7, 2026 by emailing jacq@ivedeanconsulting.ca with the subject line: “NMN Interview”.

  3. Attend an online Queer Business Networking Workshop on June 5 from 12:00pm-1:00pm on Zoom. (Register here!)
