Workshop facilitation - learn more

  • ABOUT

Northern Mosaic Network have a suite of workshops and training sessions that we hope will be regularly accessed all over the NWT.

We have workshops for 2SLGBTQIPA+ identities and sector specific trainings like hospitality, education, sport and healthcare. These materials were developed with staff, community consultation and research!

As we continue to shift to de-centralizing our work and truly being territorially focused, we are aiming to hire workshop facilitators in every region of the NWT on a regular basis.

THE GOAL: To create informal community spaces where people can learn about the 2SLGBTQIPA+ community.

  • HOW DOES THIS WORK?

You bring your lived experience, passion for the 2SLGBTQIPA+ community and capacity to facilitate. We provide you with training, materials and many skills and pointers to help make you feel like a confident, knowledgeable facilitator.

As a facilitator, you will be delivering regular workshops in your community to provide that in-person training that we know the NWT wants. This will make our workshops and training more accessible to people all across the North.

You will be expected to facilitate at least one workshop a month to keep those skills flowing!

This is a paid opportunity. We will provide you with an honorarium for hosting the workshop as well as cover any travel costs.
