The 2024 request for proposals is now closed.

Northern Mosaic Network (NMN) is hosting the first Trans+ Healthcare Conference June 4-5, 2024 in Sǫǫ̀mbak’è (Yellowknife), Northwest Territories (NWT). As an organization, NMN is investing in making the Northwest Territories a safer, more equitable place for 2SLGBTQIPA+ youth, adults, and families. The goal of this conference is to build NWT healthcare providers' knowledge of trans+ healthcare so that they can deliver safer and more accessible care to two-spirit, non-binary, and trans+ people across the NWT. 

We are currently seeking proposals from healthcare providers, educators, advocates, and researchers to present at this conference. Preference for presenters will be given to two-spirit, non-binary, and trans+ presenters. Options for presentation formats are: (1) Keynote Conference Presentation - 2 hours; (2) Conference Presentation - 1 hour; or (3) Workshop - 1.5 hours. You can apply to offer both a conference presentation and a workshop.

April 3, 2024 - Extended to April 15 at 12pm MST  

Selected presentations/workshops will be contacted by the end of April.
